Around Grand Concourse.

Unionport and Tremont.

Hobos and little girls are the only people in NYC who use non-black umbrellas.

My building.

This is next door, which is convenient, but it reeks of really old fried chicken. The J-Mart in Daytona is the same way. You go inside for two seconds and smell like nasty chicken. It just isn’t worth it.

More of my hood…Yupster, is that your tile place? I hear you can get really cheap tile in the Bronx.

Why old buildings are awesome.

Target on 225th; apparently the coolest Saturday night activity ever.

Hey buddy, I like your photos…..especially of the apt. building lobby, and the sign that says Fuel.
I grew up in the Bronx, a few blocks from Westchester Square, in the 1960s/70s. I’ve got some photos at http://www.bronxny.mysite.com
Also at flickr.com….just search Bronx Tratman and you’ll see my old neighborhood.
I’d like to see more of your photos. Please post some more!
Peace,
Charles Cozic
